Antique Cold Painted Bronze Monkey Pruning Himself Figurine
This is a cold painted bronze monkey pruning himself. It is unmarked but got at a auction that had all kinds of Vienna Bronze pieces and I think this piece is unmarked which happens not to be uncommon. The piece is quite weighty for being so small he weighs 7.1 ounces. It measures 2 1/4 inches long and that is with his foot sticking out and is 2 inches high. He is highly detailed and in great condition.

Vintage Disston Pruning Shears Hedge Clippers -- No. 36 9"
These Disston No. 36 hedge clippers are in great shape. They have obviously been used. And feature some wear on the handles and blades, but open and close freely with a nice*snap. The blades will probably have to be sharpened to be used properly again, but as they stand, they are a nice collector item. The blades are 9" long, the handles are 10" long and the entire length, closed, is 23. Fabulous vintage tree pruning shears. It is very old. Amazing and beautiful patina! They are actually quite light and nimble, very well balanced in the hands, they feel much better than the new one I bought at the store recently. Just goes to show they don't make stuff like they used to! No over-looseness anywhere, it feels old but solid. I tried it out on some dead rose tops and it still cuts very well, I bet you could sharpen the blades and it would cut circles around the one I just bought! Not that you would want to do that, this is a wonderful vintage item that looks great on display anywhere from a den wall to an outdoor garden area. Hi. What I have here is a pair of hydraulic pole saws. I bought them at an auction on a crazy idea I could hook them up to one of my other machines. I have since been STRONGLY urged not to go thru with my idea. So they lay around on my garage floor.in the way.they gotta go! I have not tested them nor am I able to do so. They appear to be generally complete except for the one bar and chain. They do not appear to have been"operated" on. The triggers seem to move correctly and the quick tachs are in place. My thought is that at least one works. Cant be sure. I know that they are worth lots. Help me clean out. And I promise that there will be LOTS more where this stuff came from! Lots of unusual stuff!
