This auction is for the 46" diameter circular saw pictured(first 3 pictures) It is in used condition and it came from a working sawmill operation where it was being used to trim cants and rough sawn timbers to length. We took it in to use in the construction of a firewood processor. We have other components available if you're planning to build your own firewood processor. This unit DOES NOT have a splitter or any hydraulics. The Wisconsin V4 Gasoline engine has electric start and it's own fuel tank. It has a power take-off that drives the V-Belts that run the sawhead. The sawhead goes up& down manually. And is balanced very well(see adjustable counterweight in picture) no hydraulics or pneumatics involved. Everything is in great working order, and I can give you a demo upon purchase. Handles big or small logs with ease, straight or crooked, the log grapple orients the log straight with the saw blade every cut. A run through of how the machine works: Load the deck with logs. can fit around 25 logs on the deck) the logs lay on three rolling chains which can rotate towards or away from the log grapple. The log grapple grabs the logs and runs them forward to the saw. The saw then cuts off the desired length of wood(Usually 16" The cut off block of wood drops onto a hydraulically actuated surface which tips the block into the ram operated splitter. The deck where the wood is split can be ... moreraised or lowered hydraulically to align the block to the 10 way splitter head. The ram then pushes the block through the splitting head where it then falls into the elevator(A weight brings the ram cylinder back. Allowing immediate use of the grapple and saw once the wood has been split, ie. you don't have to wait for the ram to get back before sawing the next log. The elevator has open grates built in which allow debris to fall out to the ground so it doesn't end up in the firewood product. All controls are operated from a seat inside the cab. This Processor is in excellent condition. This machine was custom built in 2006 and has only 60 hours of use on it. It has the potential to cut a cord of wood in 40 minutes. Briefly this is how the machine works. After placing the logs on the processors arms this machine takes control of the rest. Motorized chains move the logs into a trough, where there are individually cut into pieces at a desired length by the processors mechanical chainsaw. The pieces then fall in front of a splitter where the log is then split into either four or six pieces. This belonged to my sons father in law, and he recently passed away, so we don't know everything about this log splitter, but we do know it works great, and that we used it last fall to split wood and it worked perfectly. Diesel engine, unsure of exact horsepower, however the 2013 model of this same processor is 68 hp 4cyl kubota diesel. Capable of producing 2 to 3 cords of wood per hour. Tool box on the side. Timberwolf conveyer belt comes with this processor, 5.5 gasoline Honda engine, requires 2" ball for hauling. Has one flat tire, but holds air for a day or so. Processor hauling equipment does need some repairs, plug that you hook up to the truck for lights has been cut and needs to be replaced. All is required is a small compressor to activate the knives and the sharper you keep the know with a small grinder the better it works. Very simple design but factory built. Blockbuster Firewood Processor 22-20
I bought this wood processor new in 9/2011 from Blockbuster. The reason for selling. Is that I am changing direction in my business. The only thing the machine needs is two tail lights replaced, and this will be done prior to machine leaving. The processor has been well maintained and is ready to process wood. I have an 8 way wedge and a 12 way wedge that go with the machine. A new machine sells for $58,400(with the radial stacking conveyor) and not including the 12 way wedge or the auto stop.
