I have a very lightly used Weaver 1040 floating Dee Wide Back climbing size medium. I had bought this some time back and used it only a few times. Has been stored since and is in very good to excellent condition. Price is usually $150 to $160 new. I also have a Buckingham Adjustable Flip line Lanyard with Petzl Microscender with a few extra pieces of hardware(locking carabiner& snap hook) This is a sweet piece of gear. I'm selling this almost new: 1 Wes Spur deluxe climbing starter kit(weaver saddle. 150ft 1/2" Samson bigfoot line, plus all needed accessories for VT descent including work lanyard, carry bag) Plus: 1 60" friction saver 1 50" saw lanyard 1 12oz throw weight All of these items have only been used on these occasions only: 1 practice climb into a eucalyptus tree 1 work climb to trim that eucalyptus tree 1 work climb to trim a pepper tree Important: There has been no shock loading on any item. Since I was new to the field. While on the climb I spent time being careful so I didn't kill myself or put myself into a situation I couldn't get out of. The saw lanyard was used to hang my hand saw from. A chainsaw was not used on any of these climbs. The rope hasn't been pulled all the way out of the original bag ... moreyet. You can see that the end that was used to climb is only a shade darker from use. There are no faults in the line that I can see. Baring some minor fuzzing. Why am I selling my equipment? I live in southern california. And when I found out I had to have a state sanctioned contractor's license that otherwise makes unknowing homeowners liable for legal issues, I decided there was too much liability surrounding the field and decided not to continue with the business, license or not. Also. I have an also near new Echo PPT-265 power pole pruner. This has been used on one medium sized front yard tree and 8 queen palms. As you can see in the photos a lot of the items are new or very lightly used. The Buckingham climbing spikes are in very nice condition as is the Fanno Saw Works saw and Weaver scabbard. The two Petzl Spirit M-15 carabiners are new and the Weaver and sunbelt chainsaw straps are new as well. I am not sure on the age of the saddle and buckstrap but they are both in working condition.
