800x600 Die Head. H&G Style DM. Size is difficult to read. I think it is 1101. Made by Eastern Machine Screw Corp. Hew Haven, Conn. USA. Has good 9/16-18 chasers installed. 1” Shank. Includes a 1 1/16” extension/adapter shank. Body is about 3” diameter; overall width is about 4” I am standardized on Geometric die heads and have not used this one myself. But it locks closed and snaps open as I believe it should. I’d consider it good used condition though it does have some dents and bangs as show in the pictures. Namco rotary thread cutting diehead DR2 with 18UNC dies
I'm 95% sure this is a Namco die head. But the only identifying mark is"DR2" It does conform to Namco's DR series, but the size doesn't match any of their current offerings exactly, so it may be no longer in production or a custom(it's similar to the largest current head) The shank is 2.75" OD. The head is 5.125"OD, and the overall length is ~7" without the dies. With the dies the length is ~8" The thru hole is about.75" The max die OD(full rest) is 1.75" the min threading ID is probably similar to the largest current Namco DR size. I cleaned the unit enough to ensure I could disassemble it without damage. Die Head similar to Landis Geometric with chasers turret lathe screw machine USA
Not terribly familiar with this type of tooling so look the pictures over well. It is a die head. Looks complete with chasers installed, everything appears to move and function as it should giving it a quick look over: appears to be in good shape all around. There are no MFG's markings that I could see anywhere on it. I believe it to be an older USA made piece, but cannot confirm that. Any questions and I can take measurements or try to answer.
