This auction is for one used tapmatic SPD3 tapping head with a BT40 Tecnara 240-804-4 boring head adapter. This item is in good condition- see pictures. This auction doesn't include any flexible collets. But does include a metal bushing(see close up pictures of tap holder unscrewed) which i'm not sure what its actual use is. Tapping head: The SPD 3 tapping head is capable of tapping#0- 1/4" holes at 2000 RPM max. It has a 1:1 reverse and a self feed of 3mm. According to the tapmatic website. The SPD series is designed for manually or automatically controlled machines. SPD tools have positive drive without torque control. Recommended for applications with automatically controlled feed. 1 to 1 reverse simplifies adjustments of machines with automatically controlled feed.
