Possibly this is the same for the model# Overall condition is good for such a old gently used tool. It is used and has wear, surface rust, scrapes and bruises from all those many years of gentle use and looks ugly as a good tool should. There is no identification markings in the tool, except what it came with. WE have not tested this tool. But my experience is that these tools last forever with the exception of changing stones, so if the stones are good enough you should be ready to go. Please study the photos and judge for yourself. This honing machine is not a Sunnen product but assembled by myself. However, the mandrels, holders and sleeves are genuine Sunnen product. I used it for fifteen years with no problems and it gave very accurate results doing bores of bearing housings and anything within the range of the mandrels provided. I am selling a Sunnen LBB-1499 Horizontal Honing Machine. Excellent machine to hone rods. I am also including a AG300 Precision gauge for it. Unfortunately I cannot include the tooling kit for the gauge since I need it for my other machines! This machine is in excellent condition. Was always kept in a dry environment. Paint is nice. Machine is very clean and works great. I used it for a short time to recondition rods and pistons but since then expanded to a few other machines(will be listed some soon) The hone has fresh good oil in it. Machine comes with the little allen and T-wrench to remove the stone from mandrels. I am not including any mandrels but have mandrels available if you know the size you need. Dont have the truing sleeves for all the mandrells. But all the ones i have go with machine. they are cheap to buy or make. CRG cap grinder isnt pretty and needs paint job but works fine with diamond dresser. Pulled the oil tank out of honing machine to fix rust hole in oil tank. Bead blasted bottom of tank and brazed thin spots and gave them two coats of sealer.giving tank bottom new coat of paint on turkey day. Tank should last a long time. It does need ... morenew switch for the light. the on butten is broke. I have forklift to load. Will build pallet or skid for it for $50. VINTAGE Sunnen LBN Bushing Grinder Honing Machine, 1 truing sleeve & 8 mandrels
Sunnen LBN Bushing Grinder Hone Honing Machine. 1truing sleeve& 8 mandrels. This machine has been sitting in my dads garage for 10 w/o being used. It sat beneath an canvas cover to keep it from weather. I plugged it in and it runs but cord isn't good(it kept cutting out when i moved it) and needs to be replaced. I took pic of the plug and as you can see its seen better days. I didn't attempt to clean this up since I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to that. I didn't want to risk getting cleaner where it not supposed to be. The sleeve is a ST-1125/1140. Mandrels are as follows 840 720 SC-1250. SC-1000, SC-1375 SL-540.
