This is a good used Hone system. It was freshly serviced and painted just prior to being taken out of service. Several bins of new and used tooling go with this machine. You get the whole lot of external Sunnen honing tools. The largest one may be a well made handmade holder? No mfg. stamping on it. The largest one does have the following inserts in it( FD 64-B and FD 64AA 73. The medium sized one has stamped on it FB13.400-580& FB19.580-800. The smallest one has FA8.240-300. FA4.120- 240 and FA 10.300-400. The holders look very good shape just some easy to clean grime on them. There are a few stone inserts as well with some grime on them and others that look new. Thanks!

Here is a CD containing information for the Sunnen MBB 1660 honing machine. Sunnen is the undisputed standard in industrial and automotive honing applications. They are world reknown for quality and excellence in their product line. This is a manual for a workhorse. The MBB 1660 honing machine, the manual was printed in the late 1950's and there are lots of these machines still in service. The manual covers setup, operation and general maintenance of the machine. Also included with the manual is the honing selector guide and catalog. The manual consists of 45 pages of information about the machine, the selector guide is an additional 68 pages of information concerning how to set up hones and stones for honing operations and is not"just a catalog" it is a book I refer to more often than the operation manual because it contains ... moreall the information you need to correctly select the proper hone, stone and other components to do precision honing. When I bought my honing machine several years ago I did NOT get any manuals with it. It took me quite a bit of searching to find literature that would help and it finally came from a friend who operated an automotive machine shop.
