Used Aero Brake Levers w/Spring Loaded Design.No Rubber Hoods Thank you for your interest in this item and please visit our store for other offerings. We have very reasonable shipping terms and combine orders to save money(for customers) on shipping costs. We also maintain customer friendly return/refund/exchange policies. Product Description: This offering is for a used set of aero brake levers in a silver finish(albeit weathered and scuffed/scratched from use) There are no markings on the levers(other than dating) So I do not know the make or model name/number of these brake levers. Dating indicates a mid 80's vintage and they appear to be bike shop quality brake levers, so my best guess is they are Japanese-made. The lever bodies are made out of a hardened resin/plastic and the levers themselves are made from an aluminum alloy. The ... morelever body design is also somewhat unique in that there is a lip that bisects the lever body at a point where it appears the hoods required for these levers are smaller and do not wrap around the very front of the lever bodies. I say this. Because we stock a number of different new-old-stock brake hoods, but(unfortunately) I don't have anything remotely close to fitting these levers. So please keep this in mind when considering these used brake levers. I should also note that oversized cable housing stops are not needed with these levers. As the cable entry point within the lever body was designed so that a standard/smaller(and much more common) ferrule will seat properly and allow the cable to pass through to the lever(as intended) I should also mention the steel bar clamps on these levers are not marked, but caliper measurements indicate they will mount on bar tubing with a diameter in the 23.8 mm to 24.2 mm range, which should cover nearly all drop bars on the market(which are generally made with bar tubing that measures 23.8 mm in diameter) Lastly, I can confirm the weight of these levers is 184 grams(for the set.and as pictured without brake hoods) per our digi

Calipers include original barrel adjusters and pinch bolts there is some corrosion on the steel hardware on these. Mostly the brake springs on the back of the calipers. levers do not have the brake hoods. calipers use a non-recessed nut for installation. Resin brake levers. these appear to be made out of some kind of plastic or composite. we are not aware of the model. they permit two types of cable routing. And can be used as aero brake levers or non-aero which makes me think they are mid to late 80's. Hope Tech M4/ x2 disc brake set— Includes 2 piece rotors- 180 Post front& 160 IS mount rear- STAINLESS steel brake lines! This is a used set of Hope Tech brakes. They are in very. Very good used condition and include a set of 2 piece Hope rotors(180/160) The caliper adapters are also included for 180mm post mount front and 160mm IS mount rear as is all mounting hardware. The brakes are used but are in good condition. They have full lenght stainless steel brakes lines. The pads show little wear and are the original Hope brand organic pads. The levers are the new tech lever and is very adjustable. There are knobs for lever reach as well as pad contact/lever throw. Both adjustments actually make a difference unlike a lot of other brakes available with similar adjusters that really don't do much at all. Brakes are ready to ride and don't ... moreneed to be bled although bleeding is easy and doesn't require any special tools. As with all Hope products these are a work of art. One piece machined calipers are light and strong. These are great, reliable, sweet looking brakes that are build to last. Reusable hose fittings, no"bleed kit" tons of very easy to follow setup videos on Hopes website, etc. are just a few of the things that make these great brakes. The front brake line is about 30 inches long and the rear is about 51.5 inches long. They bike they were on was a size large Intense Spider 29er so there should be plenty of length for just about anything. They are truely good brakes. Pictured but not included are the SRAM direct mount shifter clamps and the titanium bolt kit. The original black hardware(unused) and brake lever clamp will be included. The original rotor bolts will also be included but are not shown. If you would like the SRAM clamp I will include it for an additional $25.
