These were a recent purchase but I ended up going in a different direction with the project. The ... moreShimano model number is BR-M565. This listing includes the brake arms. The original LX brake pads, the straddle cables, and the mounting bolts. I will also include two pairs(enough for 1 bike) of new Kool Stop hi performance light weight brake pads(Kool Stop model number KS-CXCT) All you would need to complete installation would be cantilever type levers and brake cable! This brake set is pre-owned but in good cosmetic shape and great mechanical shape. All springs(inside the brake arms) work as they should. There are two things I'd like to highlight: 1. one of the grey end caps has popped off of one of the brake arm assemblies and(2. one of the washers on another brake arm shows some wear. Shimano BH90-SB Hydraulic Brake Hose for M985 M785 M666 Brakes 1275 mm Black
You are bidding on a Shimano BH90-SB hydraulic brake hose. I just got a new frame and had to buy a longer hose for the rear brake. This hose has been gently used for just a few months. And is still in like new condition! The length from the banjo to the end of the insert is 50.25 inches(1275 mm) Note that you will want to put in a new insert and olive(not included) which will necessitate shortening the hose by about half an inch. This should be plenty of hose for a front brake application, and will fit SOME rear brake needs(check your measurements) 1000 mm hose lengths sell for upwards of $45 new, so here's your chance to save some money! As far as I know there is only one company that makes the correct size of barrel adjusters and that is Paul Components. How do I know this? These Campagnolo Carbon Chorus 11 Speed Ultrashift Ergopower Brake/Shifters have been used but are in excellent condition. The black hoods are brand new and unused, there is a slight flake on the right hand lever but it does not affect the performance. Please carefully look at pictures before bidding. I have noticed some bubbles in the lacquer on the carbon again performance is not effected. The ratchets have been re-greased. If your looking for a second hand set you won't find a better example. Vintage A'ME brake lever hoods for Campagnolo Nuovo Super Record brakes, white
Here's a pair of vintage brake hoods. Brand is A'ME. The hoods are used. But have lots of use left in them. Color is white, which goes well with any color scheme. The hoods are for non-aero brake levers. Non-aero brake levers have exposed cables and were used on bikes up until the early 1990s. The cables exit the top of the levers and loop down to the brakes. The hoods are NOT designed for aero brake levers. Aero brake levers hide the brake cable under the handlebar tape and are the current. Modern design. These hoods fit Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Super Record non-aero brake levers. They seem to be a common shape and could fit other brands of non-aero levers as well. This is because older brake levers did not vary in size as much as current levers. Compare the pictures to the hoods you want to replace to see if they will work for ... moreyour levers. I had these on a set of Nuovo Record levers. So if you have these levers, they will fit perfectly. Super Record uses the same lever body, so they will fit Super Record perfectly as well. I have a set of Super Record levers in my other auction if you are looking for levers. Hoods are still nice and supple. No cracking or dryness at all. They have some light staining from use, but still look presentable. Being white, some light staining is to be expected. There is also some light rubbing wear from being held while riding. You can see that as some of the raised A'ME logo has worn down. Hoods for old non-aero brake levers are getting more and more difficult to find. Even if the hoods on your levers are in good shape. Vintage Campagnolo Nuovo Super Record non aero brake levers new EAI hoods, Italy
Here's a set of vintage Campagnolo brake levers from the Super Record group. The drilled out levers identify them as Super Record. Nuovo Record used a plain lever without the lightening holes. The Super Record levers were the premier brake lever used on the best road bikes of the 1970s into the early 1980s. They are in good used condition and work perfectly. Both levers have some very minor scrapes on their outsides. This is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect their operation at all. Since the scrapes are so minor. This likely came from leaning the bike against things rather than any kind of crash. The pivots are still nice and tight and the levers move smoothly across their entire travel. Levers come with brand new tan hoods. The hoods are new in the bag. The bag has never been opened. The brand of the hoods is Euro-Asia Imports(EAI) ... moreThey are not Campy gum hoods. But a quality replacement hood. I bought them from Rivendell Bicycle Works some years ago. I think Peter White Cycles also sold this brand of replacement hood. They are made of material that is much more durable than the gum originals. The levers are compatible with sidepull calipers(either single or dual pivot) Centerpulls, mini-V brakes, and cantilevers. They are NOT compatible with full-length V-brakes(also known generically as linear pull brakes) or disc brakes. Full-length V-brakes and disc brakes require a brake lever that pulls more cable then these levers do. The most likely use for these levers is on a vintage bike, so if you pair them with any vintage brake, they will work fine. It is only some of the newer modern stuff that can be incompatible as I describe above. Standard clamp diameter fits drop handlebars. Will also work on mustache handlebars. Levers use non-aero cable routing. That means the brake cable exits out the top and loops back down to the brakes. I was saving these for a very special vintage bike. Ooh. Beautiful drillium. These aluminum non-aero brake levers bear the word"Compe" on the front and"0780" on the inside. My best guess is that they are 1980 dia compe brakes, but I cannot verify. They have a quick release pivot. Minor scuffs and scratches, but clean and with a very nice shine. Black rubber hoods I purchased new about a year ago; they have only minor wear. They look fantastic and work very well when mounted. The drilled face is gorgeous on any vintage cycle. Last picture shows them mounted to a 1986 Lotus Challenger without hoods for reference. Obviously the bicycle is not included in the auction.

These classic brake calipers are nearly perfect minus a couple of details: One is missing the cone-nut on the center pivot. Which has been replaced by a cap-nut(see first picture) The other is missing the little black plastic nub which presses into the cone-nut. but those are easy to lose in 25 years of riding) The picutures tell the whole story.
