This BBQ food truck is for sale in Tampa. FL. We have operated it successfully for one year now and are now expanding into a brick& mortar restaurant. It is a manual diesel engine and gets very good gas mileage as compared to our food trucker colleagues who average 3-5mpg. The truck's build out was done by Dixie Trailer here in Tampa Bay and no short cuts were taken. The roof top was reinforced and painted white with a special sealant. The serving window is flush with the truck's body and is built to be solid and secure when locked. The A/C unit on the top is off-set so that any condensation does not drip over and on to the serving side of the window. It does need repair. It has extra large 3-sinks that will hold full-size steam table pans, and a separate hand sink, as well as a long stainless steel prep counter in front of the ... morewindow. This truck was a firehouse box truck that never got much use. We converted it last year and it runs great and only has 11.800 miles. There is a counter that fits onto the windows for service. There is also a 10,000 watt Generac XG electric start portable generator that attaches onto the truck in a large metal box. All the equipment runs off electric so you can plug in at a site or run off the generator. The water pump runs on a battery so if you are using electric or not you still have water.
