Here is what I was told about these, from the original owner: That they were all operable units. The bottom photo shows the surplus sheet that was given to me when purchased. Additionally, when I went to pick them up, I was told by the plant manager that they were actually"new" and had never been put into service. I immediately questioned the validity of his statement, since I could plainly see that they had been previously mounted& wired up, and his response was that yes, they had been installed at one point when they were new, but never actually went online because the state came out with new regulations at the last minute and decided instead to go with turbidity meters for particle measurement. I asked him again if he was sure about this, and he was adamant that what he was telling me was true, and I could see that I was beginning to annoy him, so I just left it at that. They were already bought& paid for when I picked them up, with no possibility of a refund or return, so it would have made no sense for him to be dishonest with me, since they were now mine regardless of condition.
