Portable refrigerated apparatus for use with the CHEF DR II and CHEF Mapper pulsed field instruments. Electrophoresis buffer is circulated from the electrophoresis chamber by the variable speed puimp, cooled directly by the liquid refrigerant in a heat exchanger within the Model 1000 Mini Chiller, and returned to the electrophoresis chamber.
