Fisher-Johns Melting Point Apparatus Requires 110v power source. Untested sold as seen. This item has an electrical temperature probe instead of a thermometer. Which unscrews so could be removed to refit a thermometer if this was preferred. This apparatus has a US plug and is only for use with 110v mains power. You will need a step down transformer for use in the UK. There is no magnifying glass. But the mount is included. It would be simple enough to make up a bracket to secure a regular magnifying lens, or you can buy the genuine replacement part for £60. Ouch. We don't have a transformer to hand and have been unable to test. Therefore this item is untested and sold as seen.
