Hi to all Got this from a facility shut-down. This is a 230 Volt instrument. Info can be found at http:www.brookfieldengineering.com/products/viscometers/laboratory-dial-reading.asp although a newer model is illustrated obviously. The manual of this instrument can also been downloaded from http:www.brookfieldengineering.com/support/documentation/operator-manuals.asp?fid=1 and although it is of a newer model. The functions are almost exactly the same. No stand is included in the sale. What you see is what you get. Note that the spindle set is comprised of 7 spindles which are actually to be used with a RV Series viscometer according to the manual. Normal 0 false false false EL X-NONE X-NONE LVT Series has a set of 4 spindles so probably this one is from another model. I went personally to a chemical laboratory that has a newer digital Brookfield ... moreviscometer; I measured a commercial dish-washing liquid soap and compared the reading that I took with this viscometer. I am a chemist myself and used these instruments in the past. I found a small deviation. The digital one indicated 720cP whereas this unit 690cP. So it is working. It might need calibration though. I am credible check my feedback. Will be shipped with insured to be signed for mail. If you just need the instrument without the spindle set. It will be minus 200USD, send me a msg. WELLS- Brookfield LVT+ VISCOMETER SET IN CASE This is a used Wells- Brookfield viscometer. Model RVT Cone and Plate viscometer. This comes with a CP-40 cone which has a 2.4 cm radius and 0.8 degree angle. Shear Rate is calculated as 7.5 x rpm sec-1 and Viscosity as Reading x 3.07/ rpm in centipoise. rpm can be varied between 0.5 and 100 rpm. The Plate(cup) is fitted with both a Purge side fitting for introduction of inert gas plus a Luer Fitting at the base for introduction of sample material without removal of the plate. These are extras to the normal plate system. This checks out OK- works smoothly at all speeds and is ready to use as is. This is a nice instrument!
