This listing is for a well tested Spectronic Genesys 5 spectrophotometer with scanning software. Memory card, working printer and 8-position cuvette rack. This instrument is in perfect working order. We tested the linearity with Cy5 in the visible and in the UV and the impressively linear results are shown in the 3rd figure. The software cards(quaintly protruding from the front of the touchpad) allow scanning of samples across a range of frequencies to generate absorption spectra. The 4th figure shows a test scan of Cy5 in the visible range. The printer works and a partial roll of paper is included. Though it may look a little ragged cosmetically this is a versatile and dependable work horse and with the rare scanning software it is a bargain and a worthwhile investment in a serious lab.
