The 5971 is complete and has all the parts. But the top board is know not to work. It has a complete source, quadrapole, detector, ion gauge, diffusion pump- I did not strip any parts from the unit. The unit worked until the top board stopped working. In addition to the top board, the too hot sensor on the diffusion pump is not working. With only limited testing I am only selling it for parts so there is no return. The unit weighs 40 lbs and I will remove the diffusion pump and ship without oil by UPS.
