Turner, Astatic 200, for CM/CR& Dynamic This volume potentiometer or POT for short is the 250K Linear-Taper style that is best for controlled magnetic and controlled reluctance or dynamic elements or some say cartridge. I am often asked why 250K. Look at my harpmicgaskets.com tricks and tips and the statement is that 100K or 250K work fine. This pot will"zero" out so that you can lay it down on the amp without fear of feedback. This is the 10 detente style that stays where you set it as it clicks up or down by. LOOK at the last picture. THE MIC IS NOT INCLUDED! It is included here to show that the short shaft and knob work great on a Shure 440 as it would on any Shure shell with the stand hole like 520Sl. 707a or others. The shaft can be cut to any length you need with any tool ... moreyou have handy. A Dremel style rotary tool works great or just use a hacksaw, but it does not need to be cut for the standard Shure shells. Check my other auctions for smooth sweep style volume controls. The pot is 5/8th of an inch in diameter and the shaft is 1/2 inches long. The inside of your mic is a little less than 3/8 inches tall actually. It is a 1/4 inch diameter shaft as is the aluminum knob that measures 1/2 inch in diameter and it is 9/16th inch in height. This pot also features the easy solder wire loops instead of the posts. The easy to follow wiring pictorial style schematic is also in tricks and tips at my harpmicgaskets.com site. Shure Brown Bullet Harp Mic. Chrome with Black CR element
Here is another very unique mic from. This started life as a small shell. Brown bullet. I love the brown bullet mics but I also really like a chrome mic. The problem with full chrome mics is that they are slippery when playing under lights on in the sun on a warm day. What I did to sort that problem was to take the body and put knurling around it where you hold the mic. This works great and looks pretty bitchin too. This mic has a super, full, TONE MONSTER.Ok, here it is again. This is one SUPER STRONG full TONE BEAST| of a Black CR element. No shortcuts here, it is just a complete package.
