You are bidding on an Avantek SMA RF module. I know very little about this other than it has an In and Out port(the proper technical term is Gozinta and Gozouta) and a 5+ supply. All connectorized with SMA-F. I don't know what this is- I haven't tried to test it- my guess is that it's an LNA or PA. If you're lucky enough to have access to a Network Analyzer and some free time you may be able to measure the frequency response, just use an attenuator to keep from overloading and buring out the ports in case this decides to oscillate.
