Kalmus 25W Wideband RF Amplifier
You are bidding on a 25-Watt class A amplifier that covers from below 10 kHz to 1 GHz in two overlapping bands. This unit consists of two Kalmus 25W amplifier modules. A switching supply, and two coaxial relays. One amplifier is flat(+/ 1dB) from 8 kHz to 225 MHz, the other from 200 MHz to 1 GHz. Both amps have 44 dB gain, so 0 dBm input delivers full power. Since the modules had been used on a test project and could not be sold as new. They were given to me upon leaving the company. I integrated them into a cabinet that was previously used for another product, but was the perfect size. The low-band amp is on the right, and the high-band amp is under the switching supply. Both have large heatsinks, and the cabinet has a fan which pulls air in through an easily-cleaned filter. I'm calling this unit'used' but, as explained, it is ... morevirtually new.
