I am selling off most of my siren collection as my interests are switching gears. Here is my ACA Banshee. It sports a 15-hp single phase motor and a single-tone chopper. It is also equipped with stator defrosters. So this siren must have been in a state with cold winters(I am unsure where it came from originally) This siren will likely never run again, so I am suggesting that it be purchased to be used as an aesthetic/conversation piece only. Bar/restaurant? Man cave? Private siren collection? Museum? Or do you just wanna have something your neighbor probably does not have? The possibilities are nearly endless! The fiberglass is in surprisingly good condition. These usually get banged up when they are removed, but this one was treated with dignity and respect. It is a 3 phase. 10 horse unit. No controls are included, but a control box can me made easily using a readily available 3 phase motor starter and a weatherproof enclosure. Siren motor is untested since I do not have three phase power, but the rotor spins freely and coasts down nicely. The siren could use some fiberglass work as you can see in the pics, but that should be really easy to do. One of the three vertical posts that the fiberglass covers bolt to has a bolt broken off in it so that will need to be drilled and re-tapped. This should be an easy restoration, with mild fiberglass patching and repainting being the brunt of the labor. NO SHIPPING! ... moreThis is a local pickup item only.
