This 12 volt siren works excellent and is very loud. The siren housing is in pretty good shape. But does have three small dings on it, each about the size of a nickel. The front cover also looks pretty good. It does not have a break on it, but one can be installed on it if wanted. If you have any questions, contact Bill via email or at 314-623-0171. Vintage Federal Siren Cover Plate Fire Truck Pumper Engine
A vintage Federal Siren cover that has great chrome. No discoloration or rust. Decent dent and 1/2" long split on bottom edge of cover. A few other very minimal dings/dents in other areas. Cover is 10" in diameter and 1 1/2" wide. Cover could easily be used on existing siren to replace a cover in much worse condition. Or simply hang on a wall. Federal SIgn & Signal siren Model 66-G
Federal Sign& Signal Model 66-G 12-volt siren. It has been tested and does work. It is a deep single tone siren but not a coster siren. It is in the condition I obtained it with some blimishes and dimpling of the housing and grill. There nothing that could not be restored or cleaned and the overall condition is good for a siren of its age. There appear to be the typicak cracks in the rear housing near the label which frequently happens in sirens of this age. I do not charge handling and shipping is free. Email questions.

Very nice overall shape vintage Sireno siren. There will be no base mount or rear chrome cover as this was a flush mounted siren. Strong runner. Long coast, 12volt with 12v brake. All original and very heavy so shipping will be pricy. This thing's a monster at about 11" diameter by 4+" deep stator/rotor. Approx. 13" long. What you see is what you get minus the chrome base, used to photograph only. I don't know how Sireno got around the Q2B patent but this siren is all but identical to a Q in diameter, depth and stator port count. Please ask questions I will respond in a timely manner. Seems to be missing screen around stator ports, a couple of broken small#6 screws around outside of stator. Brass, should come out easily and do not affect operation. This is from Federal Sign and Signal Corporation out of Chicago. Illinois. It is the model 36 Electric horn. It reminds me of the horns we had installed at our Elementary School to warn us of any type of foreign attack. The horn is 110/120 Volts. 60 cycles, 25 amps and has the serial number 7A14M7. It is approximately 7.5" side, 7" deep and 6" tall. I hooked it up to a 12 amp battery charger and the horn still works. The only thing needed is few bolts and you are ready for any emergency. I attached the wires to a 12 volt battery(remember, this siren is 6 Volt) and she does work. Very loud! Unknown if the light works. Does not have a bulb in it, but I would guess that it does work, and that it just needs a new bulb. There are a few dents in the housing as you can see in the pictures. The chrome housing as a few very minor ripples and the chrome is dull in some areas. There is an area on the back side of the trumpet flare where the chrome is worn down to the brass. Please do not think this housing is in perfect condition as it is not. It's decent and displays nice sitting on a shelf or if you mount it on the roof of an ambulance or fire truck but up close you will see the imperfections. Federal C6 coaster siren with moving light from Cadillac ambulance
This is a very rare Federal C6B coaster siren with a working oscillating red light. The light is a superb attention getter. Because is oscillates up and down, as opposed to common rotating or side-to-side style of warning lights. The C6 siren was in many ways the finest coaster siren ever made by Federal, better even than their famous“Q” series, because it coasts longer, and produces almost as much sound. These were the favorites on the big, old, hearse style Cadillac and Flxible ambulances, which is where this came from. The rear bell has some dents in it, and there is a stress crack in the light cowling. I’ve tried to show these in the pictures. The siren, light and brake all work on 12 volts. This is a very heavy, quality piece of machinery. It has a wonderful sound, and winds down for a long time after the current is shut off. A real ... morebeauty. I'm only parting with this because I need the space. It would be a great addition to your antique fire truck restoration. The siren measures 16 inches long and 7 inches in diameter. There does not seem to be any rust in the cone. It was working when removed 2 years ago.However you are buying at your own risk.
