The pendant is approximately 5/8 of an inch by 3/8 of an inch at the widest points. Fantastic Epergne. 6 piece, marked IFS LTD ENGLAND on the base, Art nouveau style. four legged base holds four smaller tulip shaped vases surrounding a large one in the center. Stands 10 inches tall, approx. 8 1/2x 7" wide. I did some research and found IFS stands for Israel Freeman and Son which operated in England in the late 1800 to early 1900"s. The stamp is really small and I could not get the camera between the legs to get a photo. The stamp is on the underside of the round piece bracing the legs. Since this area is so small, I cannot tell if it is marked Sterling. I have seen this in Sterling so I am not sure. I believe the inside of the vases are lined in vermeil- also found in another description during research. I am starting at a lower price because I am not sure of the metal. Vintage IFS LTD. Round Silver Plated and Glass Butter Dish MADE in ENGLAND
This a beautiful. Vintage, IFS Ltd. round, silver plated and glass butter dish made in England and in excellent, gently used condition. The bottom of the butter dish has a few fine light scratches which I'm sure after polishing and cleaning will hardly show. The IFS Ltd. butter dish features a round silver plated bottom dish that measures approximately 4.75 inches round in diameter. Fitting on top of the bottom dish is a glass bowl that measures approximately 3.5 inches round in diameter and stands 1 inch tall. On top of both those pieces fits a round silver plated lid that measures approximately 3.75 inches round in diameter and stands 2 inches tall.
