This thing is in very good physical condition as I think you can see. But I think it has issues, so it is being sold for parts or repair. It powers up no problem but the alarm on the Temperature Alarm/Monitor module was going off and the digital display was jumping erratically from one number to another. Not reflecting any actual temperature. I was able to turn the set point up on the Temperature Control module. But other than the inner surface of the door warming up just a bit I didn’t detect the thing actually getting hotter. Could be an easy fix or it might just be operator error. I notice that it is water jacketed and the label says you should put in 3 liters of distilled water. Not going to mess with it. ... moreMost of these prove to be a real pain to drain. So it has no water and no CO2. That could be the problem? Also it was a really chilly 50 degrees ambient but I doubt that would keep it from heating up. I think I have another one of these. I just can’t get to it at the moment. So if I have a chance I may try swapping some modules to make the nicer of the two work. But for the moment what you see is what you get. It has shelf holders but no shelves at the moment. I might have some shelves that will fit. But again, for now what you see is what you get. From a casual inspection this incubator is in very good physical condition. It certainly won’t pass for new but it looks as good as an incubator needs to look in my humble opinion. If it wasn’t in such good shape I would never have bothered with it. The surplus info on it said in one place the condition was unknown. But in another it said it wasn’t working. I powered the thing up and was able to reset the thermostat higher. Which got the HEAT ON indicator to light up and the indicated temperature to start moving in the right direction. Inside the blower was going. Thus far that is the extent of my testing and no warranty is offered. However. I can at least check it to see ... moreif it settles in at the new set point before it ships. If it runs way past the set point or I notice something else unexpected I will update the listing to reflect my observations.
