I was able to power up the unit as shown in the photos above. And the digital display illuminated bright and clear right away, and was responsive to input from the buttons. I let the unit run, and it was able to reach its max set point of 55.0°. This is the extent of my testing. I even opened up the back panel to look at the wiring and connections.
