Opening in center is 2 1/2" by 1 1/4" Red in color. Looks like it was lightly used. I assume it is meant to come apart into two pieces but I cannot get it to open. These two LEBUS load binders are a pair of Model A-1. However. They must have been manufactured at a different time as the lettering is a little different. As seen in the third picture the end of one handle says LEBUS and the end of the other handle says 26000 lbs. The LEBUS literature says that their standard lever model A-1 load binder has a working load limit of 9200 pounds, a proof load of 18400 pounds and a minimum ultimate strength of 33000 pounds. The handle length is 18.69 inches with a take up of 4.5 inches. The LEBUS load binder weighs 12.47 pounds each. These two load binders have been hanging on a nail in the barn for over twelve years. The load binder with the name LEBUS on the handle was cleaned up a little so it would be easier to photograph. The other load binder is barn dirty. Aluminum Snatch Block 5 inch pulley used in fishing industry.
For auction i have a vintage aluminum snatch block. The pulley is about 5 inches diameter. I believe this was used in the fishing industry because of the type of material it is made with. The body and pulley appears to be aluminum. The hook is brass the nuts appear to be stanless steel. There is a grease nipple fon the pulley and the hook. There is no weight rating marked on it. The photographs claerly show the markings the markings on it.

For sale are two 4-3/4 ton bicycle shackles 3/4" As you can see by the pictures these are not the clovis style but the D shaped or bicycle style shackle. I think I have my terminology correct. If I am just making this up look at the pictures and you can figure it out for yourself. These shackles look like they have seen many years. They are more beat up than the other shackles I have sold but they still seem sturdy to me. Also one of the pins doesn't screw in as far as the other one but it goes most of the way. Dixie 1 3/8" Handwheel Turnbuckle
This sale is for a Dixie handwheel turnbuckle. It appears to be in good working condition. The barrel is just under 11 1/2" long and the OD is 2 3/8" The jaw/bolt OD is 1 3/8" The handwheel is about 8" in diameter. The bolt shank is 1" As pictured. The piece is about 25 1/2" in length. In measuring this up. I've just found that one of the clevises is slightly squeezed shut. One clevis opening measures about 1 3/8" The other measures about 1/16" under 1 1/4" It's been kept greased and the jaws thread easily into the barrel. The end bolts need a little attention. As I received this. The nuts were very tight on the outer threads of each bolt. I removed them and very lightly brushed off the rust in and on the threads. The nuts still only partly tighten onto the bolts. The threads aren't ... morevisibly destroyed, I suspect they need to be cleaned more or have a tap/die run through and over them.
