This Renfroe plate steel lifting clamp has been slightly used. But is still in excellent condition. The teeth are in excellent condition, and appear to be used just slightly. The clamp has a lifting capacity of 0 to 1 inch. I used a silver marking pen to try to bring out the words on the clamp, but cannot make out a for sure WLL. The last line says, Ton 0- 1 and I am not sure if it means it has a WLL of 0 to 1 ton, or if there is a number before Ton and the 0- 1 indicates the thickness of steel it can lift, because I measured it with a micrometer, and it can lift from 0 to 1 inch thick steel. Up for bid is an antique Railroad/Bridge/Barn ratchet jack. I could find no marks to identify the maker. It has 30- 10. Rise 5 in on one side and then some other ID marks that doesn't help me I.D. it. The 30 I think refers to the tonnage and maybe the 10 refers to the date? Info is more than welcome. The unit itself cleaned up very nicely- it had some tough tar& goo stuck to it. Ratchet works good& it moves up& down smoothly. All and all- a very nice unit.

One thing I do know is this thing is huge. It weighs 11 lbs The main body is 12 ½” in length. The width across the widest part is a little over 2 3/4” There is an eye at each end with 2 hooks in each eye. The eye is the same diameter as the width of the turnbuckle. Both screws in the turnbuckle have a lock in them that will need to be removed to change the length. Once you get it to the proper length reinsert them to prevent it from moving. This item is like new. It was found in a warehouse and looks like it has not been used. There is a mark on the hooks that looks a manufacturer stamp. But I can’t make it out. On one end the oblong eye's are 1 1/2" and on the other end the clevis is 1 5/8" by 1' One end of the turnbuckle with the clevis is marked CL and the other end is marked 3 over 8. Both are identical.
