TEKTRONIX TM500 series box with plug ins! I inherited this unit. I don't have the time to work on it and I have to clean house a bit. So I am letting it go cheap! The TM503 plug-in cabinet and power supply seems to be working fine. The DM505 needs some work. It reads DC voltages fine. Reads AC but needs a calibration. The resistance circuit did not seem to function. The ammeter section is missing two switch actuators and requires you activate them by poking them with a screw driver. The switches could use a cleaning. The FG504 produces adjustable 0-40 Mhz sine/ traiangle/ and square wave waveforms. It will produce continuous wave output. Or can produce either Log or Linear sweeps of the frequency. There is a multi section range switch and a vernier frequency control. There is a nice attenuator on the output. You can feed in DC voltage, ... moreor ramp voltage to produce either continous waves or frequency sweeps according to your input voltage. There are many other functions. The switches could use a good cleaning, as they are sometimes intermittent and require you play with them a little to get them do work. Mostly it functions well. The SC501 is a 5 Mhz 2.5 inch CRT display. Has 10mv to 1 v/division vertical, and a horizontal sweep of 1 s/div to 100ms/ div. These listed around $1000 when new(1977-85) I plugged the unit into the chassis, but did not get a power light. I suspect the power supply has a problem(possibly a regulator? The interior is clean and impressive. With a little work. This could be a nice"multi faceted" instrument! I do provide manual pdf's for all but the DM505. On a CD. SEE THE DEMO VIDEO- I show DC and AC voltage measurements. Produce various function generator operations and give a general tour of the SC501 scope plug in.
