I have completely re-conditioned this analyzer to excellent operational and physical condition. It only has about 1500 hours of use on the elapsed time meter. Which means it has spent most of it's life on a shelf. The CRT is bright and sharp. All the functions work properly. It passes all module calibrations and built-in calibration routines. My re-conditioning includes replacing all the high voltage caps in the power supplies. I check the signal transfer from the RF input to the output of the 3rd Converter and replace any parts that have excessive loss on the RF deck. I check the operational parameters of all the circuit modules and replace any defective components. I disassemble the front panel and replace any defective push button switches and parts on the circuit board. Tektronix TR 502 Tracking Generator in not the best shape. I bought this unit a few years ago from an estate along with some other nice Tek gear and it was damaged in transit. I believe this thing was working before shipment. It appears to be all there except for external shipping damage. I was planning on selling this unit anyway since I don't need it. Tektronix RARE TM 504 Opt 7 for TR 502, 7L12 7L13 and 7L14 Spectrum Analyzer
RARE Tektronix TM 504 Opt 7 for Tracking Generator in not the best shape. I bought this unit a few years ago from an estate along with some other nice Tek gear and it sustained some shipping damage in transit compliments of UPS. Fortunately the damage appears to be cosmetic in nature. I tested it with a Tek DC 502 Opt 7 Counter and the counter worked fine in it. I wasn't able to test the compartments dedicated for use to a TR502 or TR503 because the TR502 that came in the same shipment was damaged beyond functionality. Opt 7 allows a DC 508A or DC 502 also with option 7 to talk to and work with the Tracking Generator through the TM504. There are 3 dedicated slots. The middle 2 are for the tracking generator. Also the high power compartment tang at the top of the slot was broken off. See in the pic. But this looks like it could be replaced ... morepretty easy by removing the top skin from the TM504. I did not check the high power slot. Note the damage to the Rear. Also looks pretty easy to fix or just leave it. There is a ding in the top. Sold as described. Your purchase is insured with Paypal.
