A test current probe(A6302) was attached to the system, and the unit was connected to 115VAC and powered on. The unit flashed 355 error code, which we believe means the NVRAM battery inside needs replacement. We cleared the error, then used the probe to view the calibration signal from the scope. It displayed the expected value on our test scope. We went through all current ranges on the AM503B, and they all produced the correct output. No further testing was performed. The Tektronix PS501-1 is a direct reading DC variable power supply. 0 to +20 volts at 400 milliamps and a separate fixed +5 volt supply at 1 amp. The variable supply has variable current limiting from 0 to 400 ma. This plugs right into a TM50x mainframe. This PS501-1 is ready to work for perhaps another 20 years. It has been evaluated, disassembled, repaired, cleaned, calibrated and reassembled. It comes with a 14 day right of return for any reason.
