CVC Consolidated Vacuum VCS-23A Gate Valve For sale- a CVC Consolidated Vacuum Corporation VCS-23A High Vacuum Gate Valve. This is an aluminum bodied valve pulled from what appeared to be a functional vacuum system. It was still under vacuum when I pulled it apart. The valve served as a stop between the diffusion pump part of the system and the roughing pump. Which was unattached. So if it was leaking the system would have leaked down to atmospheric pressure. It looked like it had not been used in awhile. So the only real question here is whether the pneumatically actuated gate opens and closes. The surplus condition code theoretically indicated the entire system should be functional. But it is untested and sold without warranty. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt ... moreyou may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale. No returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price. Not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that. This is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems. So any purchase entails a certain degree of risk. This large T-bracket alone can be used as a high vacuum research chamber. However you are also bidding on a working Daia(company currently named Diavac) diffusion pump removed from an electron microscope. It can pump 570L/s. Additional specs can be easily found for free online, or you can ask me. It comes with everything pictured in the main photo. It comes with the T-Bracket that can be seen on top of the pump which connects a Fuji Seiki throttle valve(butterfly valve) and a small chamber with flanges for instrumentation or connecting to other chambers or pumps. The other side of the T-Bracket houses a liquid nitrogen trap which slides through the bracket and over the pump to keep any oil vapors from entering your system. As well as freezing any residual outgassed materials or water vapor. The flanges attached to the chamber were measured ... moreand any nw/kf fitting sizes were determined. If you need more information on any of the connections let me know. The roughing pump can be attached to any of these.
