High Power 40 Watt External Cavity Laser Diode Chip Arrays 976nm Lot of 5
This is a lot of 4 high power microchip lasers made by Novalux. They make a 40 watts of power at 976nm in a 1. by 1 cm beam. The laser chips have a line of several 1-3 watt vertical cavity emitters and are pre-mounted on synthetic diamond heat spreader chips. They require 30-40A at about 2V. A very good heat sink, and an external output coupler to work properly. They were intended to be used with a frequency doubler to make blue light for some kind of research application. One of the chips is damaged, but the damage does not reach the laser chip so it may still be usable. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

Here we have a great deal for someone that has the follow through we lacked. We purchased these as a"working when pulled from service" set mounted in a large cabinet years ago. The intent was to do all of our own engraving and maybe pick up business doing it for others on the side. Never found the time so we pulled it all apart and wrapped up/stored the critical parts- lasers- and stored the cabinet outside. The covers on the lasers themselves have only been off twice since we have owned them. Once when we first bought and inspected them and for the pictures. Thats why they are still spotless inside. We have all the books. Wiring schematics, blueprints, installation guides, even the calibration sheets when they were tested as operational before we purchased them etc. So there is a LOT of important data there for someone thats knows ... moreanything about lasers. We know- not a lot about them. The chillers and control cabinets and one large steel cabinet that housed the lasers we still have and you can have everything we have. If we cannot sell all together we may sell one laser/chiller/control cabinet separately later. Osram high power laser diode array Unique 808nm DPSS 300+ Watt
One of a kind Osram R&D laser array. 8 high power liquid cooled lasers in one array 10mm wide emitters. I have tested each laser diode to as I removed them. They glow nicely but I don't have a driver capable of bringing them up to threshold. They appear to be 808-810nm from years of observing these things but I can't guarantee this. These can be anywhere from 30-100 Watts each. My best guess is 40-50 Watts X 8. Osram currently has nothing like these available on their site. I took it all apart for inspection in an anti-static work station carefully not touching the emitters. And found that there is some residue in the coolant chambers in the diodes as seen in pics. This is worse near one end of the array and gradually dissipates. That must be the hotter exit end. This will not interfere with its function as the residue does not ... moreseem to come off easily. All the emitters are in perfect condition. I inspected under my microscope. There are 3 holes for the coolant. There was an un-tapped hole on each end of the array which didn't seem very functional for the layman. I tapped the hole in the plastic end and added a hose fitting. The opposite end hole is in stainless so I'll leave that up to you to tap if you wish. I inserted a brass tube in there for testing. It's a pretty tight fit. You can remove this with pliers or add a little epoxy around it or figure a way to plug this as there is another hole on the back side. this one came tapped with a screw/plug. But was the same size as my hose fitting so I will include a couple fittings with the unit. I will mark the correct polarity before sending. Thanks for looking

Synrad CO 2 Laser Up for bid is a Synrad model E48-1-28S in working condition. The housing has some scrapes and scratches on it. Output power measured over the rated power of 10 Watts. CW at 10.6um. Requires a 28 to 32 VDC power supply and a 5 VDC TTL enable. Current draw is 8.5 Amps at 28 VDC which is a little over spec(7 amps) The laser also requires cooling(air or liquid) for extended use. This Ebay listing is for ONE Jenoptik Jenlas 4 Watt 532nm Green Thin-Disk DPSS Laser Head model JOL-D2.4. This laser is used and in working order. It was removed from a piece of low hour eye surgery equipment we had to dismantle as per our contract with the vendor. It has a stray beam that could be from something inside out of alignment. You will notice it as shown in the pictures. Fires up with only 2v DC/ 8A input from my bench supply. I ran it less than 30 seconds at a time with 5 minute periods between running. You will need a power supply that can push 25A to run this to it's full potential as well as a TEC controller/ power supply for the internal LBO and for external cooling.
