These are two 1064nm Nd:YAG(Yttrium aluminium garnet doped with Neodymium) laser rods. One is quite large- 215mm x 13mm and has yellowish reflective ends the other is 82mm x 9mm. Uniphase Diode Pumped Self Q-switched Nd:Yag laser 1064nm 532nm 355nm UV Green
This is a nice uniphase nanolaser head. It makes IR 1064nm that is converted to green 532 and then converted to 355nm. It is a small passively q-switched. Frequency trippled DPSS laser. 355nm is a common wavelength used for biomedical research, it can make about 5mw averge power at this wavelength. If desired this UV laser can be reverted to green(200mw average power) or IR at nearly 500mw average power. The real beauty is that it is a high energy pulsed beam with peak power on the order of 4KW peak per pulse, while this won't cut through stuff at the low average power the high peak power is good for ablating stuff on the micro scale. I also have the bigger brother of this laser(powerchip nanolaser) that makes about 2W average green or 50mw of UV, let me know if interested. High Power Xenon Gas Flash Lamp Arc Tube Nd:YAG Ruby Laser Optics Part
This is the flash lamp to my high energy Nd:yag laser rod in the other listing. The arc length is 4 inches and the lamp is 1/4 inch diameter. It is used but is gas intact and in working order. This lamp will want 900 to 1500V at 100 to 300uF with a nice hot 15 to 20KV trigger pulse. The output of this lamp is extremely bright with a cerium UV filter glass. It could be used as an insanely powerful photographic strobe lamp as well. Definitely not something you can find at Radio Shack! I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.

This auction is for an assortment of laser bits I've assembled over the years. It's enough to construct a 750W Nd:YAG laser. The cavity is originally one of four from a 3000W Coherent laser cutting/ welding system. I have one complete cavity. As well as some extra cavity pieces including one of the reflectors, and a variety of seals and such. There is one YAG rod and four arc lamps(the cavity uses 2 lamps, so 2 are extras) Additionally, I have both of the end reflectors from the original system- the mirrors are in good shape; note that the tale is not actually touching the optics, I just put it on the metal housing to keep dust out. I also have a remotely actuated and water-cooled beam dump, a very low percentage beam splitter with photodiode power detector, and 4 arc lamp power supplies(again, only 2 are needed for normal operation. ... moreEach supply is 208/220 3-phase at 30A input. In order to make this a complete laser. You'll need to supply deionized cooling water, and mount the optical components to a flat surface. What i was told is they were used to make a strong yellow laser light source for use with some kind of astronomical telescope wavefront correction system. Basically yellow DPSS laser. This has been sitting around the shop for a while, I always meant to try to fire it up, but never got around to it. The label on the laser head says S/N 314, Mfg. Date: July 1981. The 9-pin connector is chipped, but looks alright. I just opened it and there is good news! There is no sign(or smell) of overheating. I see that someone bypassed the internal microswitch and wired the 120V directly to the flash lamp, so perhaps the microswitch failed or they didn’t have the mating connector to the DIN plug. The heat exchanger/pump unit is included in the sale. But, this system has not been tested so is sold for parts or repair only. This is a small mounted Nd:yag laser pass filter. These are generally used to limit noise in LIBS spectrometers and to ensure that only 1064 is passed for SHG applications like holography. The filter is about 5mm in diameter. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week. Just a heads up.
