I have since lost interest in this work(preferring HF) so I need to pass it on. The display is bright and sharp. And all of the main features of the instrument work fine with one exception. The plastic part of the Frequency Span/Div knob is missing, with the brass hub remaining. However, due to the interlocking behavior of the Span and Resolution BW knobs, both of these controls can be set any way you want by pushing/pulling the Res BW knob. In fact, most of the time it is best to leave them locked so that the Span and Res BW will track in an optimum fashion. These settings are displayed on the screen. I have used the analyzer up to about 3 GHz. And the levels and spectrums have been consistent with expected behavior. The input step attenuator and level control also behave in a consistent manner. The storage feature and peak hold appear to be working fine. There are some other features such as the HP-IB connection and rear panel outputs that I have not used. Overall this instrument is in very nice condition. As shown in the pictures. It will be shipped with the front handles installed to protect the controls. Note that most of the pictures were taken without the handles.
