I have tested it for a day and the time piece worked and stayed in time. But you may want to replace the ink ribbon as it is very light when you punch in or out on a piece of paper. Vintage Lathem 4021 Time Clock Found this in my brother-in-law's shop. It seems to be in great working order with a brand new ribbon installed and additional new ribbon included. It automatically stamps on timecard when placed in the slot. It stamps bright and clock is working. There is no key included. Though the housing is unlocked so the date/time can still easily be set*I have not let it run long enough to see if the clock is loosing any time. Though these things are extremely solidly built*NO warranty or guarantee- you are bidding on a used time-machine that appears to be in great working order(returns are not accepted)
