The clock is 7" long and 5" high. I had to focus the projection on a wall about a foot away to make the light strong enough to show on a digital image. Projected on the ceiling from a desktop. It's less sharp and bright, but very readable. There's a focusing ring at the base of the tube and also an On/Off switch for the heads-up display. The tube can be moved to the right a little bit.
