The bottom bracket locknut is mangled(see photo) but the square-taper spindle turns very smoothly. it measures just under 52cm center to center, top tube is 52cm center ot center. It's just sitting around so it needs to find a new home. I cleaned and lubed both calipers and they work great. I replaced the rusted steel brake pad bolts with new Kronos Alloy(M6) 7075 bolts that are lighter and great looking. The calipers are complete except for the plastic covers that hide the center bolts. They were not on the bike I bought so I can not include them for this auction. Also. Steerer tube is 8.75 inches long with star nut installed. Slight cosmetic blemishes to fork and steerer due to riding. Mounting and transporting. Kronos Steel Coil Springs for Rock Shox Judy XC or SL Models 80mm travel. Firm Spring Rate. Springs can be used for up to and including 80mm Travel cartridges(Risse. Rock Shox, White Brothers, ect. The Rock Shox Judy suspension forks utilized very lightweight micro-cellular urethane(MCU) spring blocks instead of the more traditional coil springs or compressed air. The MCU blocks were available in different hardnesses and could be mixed and matched into a 7-inch long spring column for the desired suspension stiffness. ... moreAt best. The MCU's worked well for awhile until the urethane permanently deformed. And this problem got worse over time until a good amount of the original suspension travel was lost due to the shorter MCU blocks. That wasn't the only problem. On cold days, the MCU blocks were very hard due to urethane's tendency to stiffen when cold and soften when warm. As a result, you could start your ride when it was cold and had very stiff forks that didn't soak up the terrain very well and then once warmed up worked better. For Sale: Rare set of Modolo Orion aero brake levers- NOS A recent spring cleaning of my parents house found a cache vintage cycling gear from my cycling past in the 80s(keeping checking back as we found a ton of stuff) Nearly every bike I rode back in the 80s was set up with either Modolo Kronos or Orion aero levers and these are still in the original box. Complete with new cables! Everything is in tact. However seems they might have been sitting out in the sun at some point as there is some discoloration on the hoods and levers(cosmetic only as rubber on hoods is still soft with one of the levers having a small 1/2 inch rip on the underside) I have seen sets of these levers sell on eBay for well over $175!

Quadra 21r with Kronos Firm Spring Kit
These are a set of Rock Shox Quadra 21r forks with Kronos firm spring kit installed. Steer Tube is 1-1/8 inch threadless and 7-1/4" long. The forks are in good shape. Cosmetically it shows its age but it works great. Only reason for selling is that I put a surly big dummy on my bike for better commuting options. This fork came on a used GT i bought in 2000. The bike was used for commuting when i went to school and has seen limited mountain trails. Last year i felt the fork become extra rigid and upon further inspection saw that the original elastomers were shot. Replaced them with the springs and the fork was ad good as back in 2000. The nice networked ones with Ethernet! I set the clock and it kept time overnight. Does this one have proximity? I don't know! This has a flash SIMM on the board inside. I think that is the upgraded more flash on the right. It says FlashDisk: flash0 free bytes:114085888 The one on the left is the memory SIMM. That card in the back is labeled transition card and has a wand interface on it. I don't have the wand so that is not included. The power supply is held in with tie wraps.
