1999 new holland lx985 skid steer loader erops! 2500 hrs! heat!
I have for sale a nice lx985 new holland skid steer loader. This machine is a tank. No weld repairs or leaks. Fires right up runs great with no smoke or issues, has enclosed cab( missing door) with heat. I didn't check the heater for operation but everything is there. Comes with really nice tooth bucket, quick tach works great. Has a brand new seat, comes with all the cab glass, old seat with sensors if you want it. The safety switches have been bypassed and the bucket drifts a bit, tires are foam filled and are pretty bald, but work fine especially for blacktop work. The yellow paint has been touched up at some point. Over all a nice loader. The thing is a tank! It is real big! Machine sold as is where is. I traded this for a zero turn lawn mower. Then 2 days later bought a Bobcat that has cab and heat, and I don't need 2 so this one must go. It has forks and a bucket. Has foot controls, 850 hours, doesn't have any major leaks(none that I've seen, but I will not guarantee there are none) 1000lb lift capacity, but this does have the counterweights on both sides. The previous owner mounted a gas tank on top because he says the filler neck leaks in the stock one. It also runs rough, especially when it's damp out. He said it needs a dist cap, but I have not taken it in to be repaired. I am selling it 100% as-is, so feel free to make an offer, and I encourage you to inspect in person before bidding. I have a late 90's LX865. This thing is a tank, has nice set of foam filled firestones with tons of tread, nice seat, really nice bucket. Hour meter says"6" but doesn't look new, machine looks to have around 1200 hrs, given the bucket is original and is in such good shape. The only thing to speak of is the throttle cable needs to be adjusted, full throttle isn't set to the proper RPM, no smoke starts and runs as it should no weld repairs no major leaks, original paint and decals. We have no attachments for this unit except for the bucket, you are only buying the machine with a bucket! This unit belonged to government agency(city) since it was new in 1998. We purchased it from them about 4 weeks ago and currently have no use for this type machine so simply turning it to cash, the city replaced it with a new one because of age not because of any issue ... moreor problem. The skid steer will crank on its own power, runs great, hydraulics, boom/bucket, travel, etc. all work properly~ The machine is in good working condition, hour meter reset itself and is explained above, tire condition can be seen in the photos, the worse part about the machine is rust, it has not, I repeat has not been underwater or anything like that but has an extensive amount of rust in certain places because of work environment, rust in places is not bad the thin metal under the seat itself is rusted bad, rust is not keeping anything from functioning properly except the parking brake which is froze up! This NH LS-120 is a very nice and strong running machine. I bought it to do a small job. Completed it and I don't have the room to keep it. There are no problems with it, no noises, no leaks and no smoke. The hour meter(800+) functions as it should and the previous owner went through the motor a few hours before deciding to sell it to buy a larger machine. It has a good bucket with a removable tooth bar and also comes with a set of New Holland Adjustable Pallet Forks. All the lights and gauges work as they are designed to do. Tires are in very good shape with enough tread that they do not need replacing. It's life was spent moving dirt and debris for patio installation. The paint and lettering is all in good shape. This is a 2000 model with 1800 original hours. Its a tight machine and it runs like a machine with low hours should. It has brand new tires and is ready to hit the jobsite. It is an all around good machine. I bought it off a rental company that was not doing too well and needed to liquidate some equipment. I have a nice new holland lx885 has full cab with heater. Working two speed and nice solid air boss style wheels. Also has a monster flat edge bucket. The machine is a one owner machine with 1800 hours. Machine starts and runs like it should, no leaks no apparent weld repairs. Front door and engine side covers are missing, I do not have them. Tires and seat are nice. Hour meter appears to be original. Bucket is very nice and has minimal wear. Has holes for cutting edge. Any questions please ask.
