The standard diesel used in the Bobcat 743 is the 1702 Kubota which is 38HP. The replacement we put in is a newer 2203 Kubota that has 46HP. Skid steer has plenty of power, great floatation and traction with track system it has. Tracks have wear but will last quite a while, can be removed if not needed. Machine has no leaks or issues that I know of. The 743 series was made in the 80's. This is an older machine and has normal wear and tear. Stid steer starts easy, runs smooth and has plenty of power. I have a kubota v2203 engine setup for installing in a bobcat 743 or 742 skid steer loader. This is ready to set right in and hook up fuel. Install your wiring harness and your ready to run. This engine is about 10 more hp than the v1702 that came in the 743. We have installed multiple v2203 engine in the 743 and it makes a nice upgrade. I will need a core back to replace brackets etc, if not there will be a additional fee. It has new sensors and new oil and filter. Bobcat 743 Diesel Skidloader I am not sure of the year but the serial number is 501949445 but they were made from 1985 to 1993. This machine has a 36 HP Kubota Diesel engine, I am not sure of original hours the tach. reads 1487 but does not seem to be running, it runs good with no smoke, the rims are good, the tires are 30% tread older tires but in good condition and will last for many Hours of use, all the lights front and rear work, the charging system works, fuel guage works, it is a quick tach so you can change attachments easily and it will fit many attachments, it also has auxiliary hydraulics so you can run a grapple bucket or a posthle digger if desired, it comes with a good 60 inch bucket that is sturdy and solid, it has a ball hitch welded to the top of quick tach this is very nice all you need to do is remove bucket and you can ... moremove trailers around no need to buy a plate with a receiver on it, the glow plugs do work, if it is cold you just hold key back for 30 seconds and it fires right up, it is hand condtrols to go back and forth right to left and foot controls to raise and tilt bucket, there are no welds on the loader arms, when idling it will sit still, but once I got out of it and it very slowly wanted to move ahead I got back in touched levers and it sat still. This is a good machine not all full of oil, it is clean, runs and operates good, these machines have many uses nce you have one you will wish you would of gotten one years ago. SELLS NO RESERVE. This is a great deal for the right person. The Hydro unit transmission is worth over $1.000 alone. This unit had a fire and was mostly put back together. However. The project has been sitting for a few years. Most of the parts are there. The lift cylinders had all been rebuilt as well as the engine. All new hoses were installed. New radiator and muffler. Tires are foam filled. However, the engine now appears to be stuck. I had the machine running, lifting and moving when I was working on it. Please remember though that it has been sitting untouched for a number of years. I did manage to find a dash and was going to either find or make a new wiring harness but never did. Also, someone had welded a bucket to the quick tatch. I removed it and it's included. The quick tatch needs some parts/attention in order to make it work correctly. Included ... morein this auction is the machine as pictured and the parts machine as pictured(a pretty much empty shell(good frame) In the parts machine the transmission is absent but the drive motors are still in along with the chains and sprockets.
