It is pretty dirty and it has splotches on the compression pad. It also seems to have some tape on the heat pad. I also noticed an odor of some sort after it had been on a few minutes. This item comes from an Estate Sale. It seems to be in decent condition. I powered the unit up and it heats up just fine and the thermostat seems to be working. I did notice there was some writing that was transferred from a t-shirt onto the upper heating pad. I will add a picture of this later in the week. The power cord seems to be in good condition and as far as I can tell the item seems to be working just fine. However I am selling this item as a parts only or repair machine as I want to sell it sold as is no returns. This is a vintage heat transfer machine made by THP Industries in Chester.PA. I could not find any information on this company. It is 17" tall, 7" across the front and 8" along the side. Vintage "PRESS MAGIC" Heat Transfer Machine
You are bidding on a Vintage Press Magic heat press transfer machine. It was used in a T-shirt company my dad owned back in the late 70's early 80's. It has been in storage for many years. It still works fine as far as I can tell. I plugged it in and it got really hot. The temperature guage registered 200 and climbing before i unplugged it. It reaches a max temp of 600. There is no thermostat. It is an on or off deal. It stays really hot for some time after unplugging. The AC cord is a little loose going into the switch box but does not effect its operation and no wire is exposed. The springs are still very strong even with a bit of rust on them. The machine has a solid heavy duty machined metal base. It is a classic machine very unique. The power light does work.
