Up for sale today is this very little used Seal 200 Laminating Heat press for t-shirt decals and dry mount Photos. This press is in Excellent condition and is very heavy duty. This comes with an adjustable heat tacking iron with temperature control settings for low. Medium, and high heat. The press works great and it also has a heat control knob with temperature settings from 180 degrees up to 350 degrees. I plugged it in and it heated up in no time. The press pad and felt are in great condition with very light fading just around the outer edges. I just replaced the bulbs so the green and red lights work when the press is in use. The thermometer indicates 250 and my digital meter measured it at ~245 degrees. The upper platen looks about like you would expect from a used mounting press. It can be cleaned. The lower platen has the the wooden insert only. If you were to use this for photographs you'd want to add a padded board. Your application may vary. Photos are of the actual item. Seal 26x32 Dry Mount Press & mounting tissue
This 26"x32" Seal Dry Mount Press(I think it's a Masterpiece 350 model. But the label is missing) includes(see pictures) the press, an EXTRA internal rubber mat, and a supply of dry mount tissue. I have used this press for upwards of 25 years and it works fine. At one time I added the additional bracing(brown in the photos) to even-out the pressure application. The switch that activates a visual timer(the left-hand, red, light blinks) when the lid is closed is broken, so the timer doesn't work. Using the press, I never missed the timer. The rubber mat in the press is slightly better than the extra one I am including(I kept it as a spare) I am including approximately 550 sheets of 8.5"x11" Seal MT5 dry mount tissue, approximately 125 sheets of 8"x10" Seal/Bienfang Colormout dry mount tissue, approximately ... more75 sheets of 11"x14" Seal/Bienfang Colormout dry mount tissue, and 71% of a 150'x20.5" roll(not in photos) of Seal/Bienfang Colormout dry mount tissue. The platen is very clean; it shines like a mirror. See the picture with the reflected National Geographics. The green felt covered foam rubber pad is in good shape. In this simple machine. The thing that wears out is the thermostat and controls. The old primitive thermostat has been replaced by an electronic temperature control. That makes the temperature accurate and reliable. Rolling Dry Mount Press made my Technal corporation of Englewood New Jersey. Model 450 in amazing vintage condition. It looks to never been used since the cord is rolled perfectly and it still has a paper cover on the heating surface. Needs some minor cleaning of the rollers and heating surface due to the paper that was adhered to the heat surface. This item is quite heavy and very well built looks to be several decades old. It has been tested and heated quickly and the rollers are working.
