Kingsley Machine, Hot Stamp, Model M-75, Never Used , With Cover
For sale is a Kingsley Hot Foil Machine. Model Number M-75. I don't know much about this machine, or how it's used. What i do know is that my mother-in-law bought it new many years ago with the intent of using it to hot stamp peoples names on books. She never used it, it's been sitting in her closet for years and years. I plugged it it and it warmed up, the temp gauge on the front works( see pic) It is very clean. From other pictures i've seen on the web it appears that this one is missing it's handle. There may be more parts missing.i just do not know enough about it to say for sure. It is in perfect shape.looks new. It is mounted to a piece of wood, all labels are intact, included is the original cover. Please feel free to ask questions, i'll answer them if i can. Kingsley Hot Foil Stamp Press Model M-75 Imprinting Machine M75 Works Great
Here we have a great Kingsley Hot Foil Stamp Press. It is a Model M-75 Imprinting Machine. This machine seems to be in working condition as I have plugged it in and it heats up quickly. the gauge works great too. All the moving parts on it move easily and function they way it is supposed too. Everything you see in the picture is what you get, I do not have a case or any accessories(besides whats in the pictures) for it. Now for the bad, this machine has a crack at the top part of its neck. It is about 1 inch long and doesn't go through or around the neck, just in the portion where the gears come out of it. It doesn't look like it will affect the use or durability of it, more of a cosmetic thing. This machine can be used as is now or for parts. I'd assume even the parts are very expensive. Kingsley pneumatic hot stamp machine with model 75 base unit
The original pneumatic Kingsley machines came with a 50-60 watt flat bar heater with woven fabric wiring. This unit comes with a model M75 base unit that was professionally refurbished and has a heater wire of modern materials that includes a"loop" to prevent premature failure from flexure; there is a cylindrical heater and base instead of the old style flat bar heater and base; and the temperature gage is located above the foil take up spool for better visibility. I converted the base unit to a pneumatic system to achieve consistent pressure and dwell time. The pressure is controlled by a variable pressure knob while the dwell time can be switched between manual or variable automatic. Operation in either position is actuated by the foot switch. The unit comes with an oiler for the cylinder. Most air tools should have a moisture ... moretrap(usually at the compressor) and a hose(not included in this sale)The normal pressure setting is about 60psig, while the normal automatic dwell time is usually set at 7-12 seconds. There are two power cords, both 120vac. One is for the heater that has a variable temperature control, and the other is for the dwell time control box. There is a fixture for holding standard Kingsley foil cartridges, but I have also included a universal roll foil adaptor. Also included is a brass insert for single line font holders; however, no font holders, foil, or fonts are included.
