Also included are 2 original wooden boxes of small parts. There are 7 boxes(54 original rolls) of assorted colors, they are 3" wide and on cardboard rolls, most still have the original seal on them. There is the original owners manual with a cassette telling you how to operate the machine. Also included is an accessory that you use to print a monogram or etc. on a pen or pencil, plus other accessories. There are 7 different type holders. Howard Hot Foil Printing Stamping Machine + Accessories + Type + Foil + Cards
This auction is for a Howard hot foil stamping/printing machine that I found at an estate sale. I don't see any markings on the machine. But was told by the previous owner that it is a Howard and it looks identical to the Howard machines I found online. I know nothing about hot foil printing so will do my best to explain what I have and will answer any questions you may have. I plugged the machine in and it did heat up, and the temperature gage on the side does work. Included with the machine are a number of accessories that are pictured as well as 3 black 9" by 6 3/4 inch trays as well as a smaller tray containing type- the total weight of all of the trays and type is approximately 18 pounds(see pictures) Also included are 20 rolls of foil(plus one purple roll on the machine) Most of these foils have been opened and used but a few ... moreare still in the wrapper. I am also going to send 10 boxes of business cards that came with the machine, as well as some business card plastic holders. As I said earlier, I am not especially knowledgable of these machines but will do my best to answer questions. Vintage 1940s Kingsley Gold Stamping Machine, 8 fonts type and 5 boxes of foil
Vintage 1940s? Kingsley hot foil gold stamping machine. Serial no. 15512. Very early model without a model number, we think this is the first model they ever made. The power cord is indicative of 1940s appliances. It works perfectly and is amazingly complete. There are 5 boxes of foil, mostly unused, dated Nov. 1949. The pressed tin end of the cannisters says pat pend, there are 62 rolls of foil, mostly still sealed. The fonts are amazing and varied, there are 8 wooden boxes of them, styles are as follows: P.T. BARNUM lower case; P.T.BARNUM caps; 18 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS; 6 on 12 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and Figures(numbers) 8 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and figures; 24 point GOTHIC CAPS; NEWPORT MONOGRAMS; 18th Century initials. I plugged it in and turned it on and it heated up to 300(see photo) The base upon which it's mounted is broken(missing a side) The cord that goes into the heating element is frayed. Dust cover is included as well. The trays of typeset appear to be missing letters. A couple rolls of foil and a nearly empty bottle of oil are included. I don't know much about these. Vintage Goldmark (Howard) Hot Foil Stamping Machine
This auction is for a VINTAGE HOT FOIL STAMPING MACHINE made by GOLDMARK INDUSTRIES INC. NASHVILLE TN. Auction is for the machine in the photos only. I do not have any accessories. From the research I have done I could not find much on Goldmark Industries Inc. except that they appear to be made by the Howard Company. I have plugged this machine in and it heats up just fine. The temperature knob works. And all of the other knobs appear to be working. The handle that lowers and raises the heating plate is missing, but can easily be replaced with a home made replacement. Sorry. But I did not even know what this machine was until this morning so please look closely at photos to make sure nothing else is missing. Looks like the machine is made of cast iron. Its hard to see. But on the side it appears to have a 1 and a 101 stamped on it upside ... moredown(hard to see, but in last two photos) If you have any questions or want another photo please let me know. I will also have the option of expedited or economy shipping available. Please check both if your concerned about cost, sometimes expedited is cheaper.
