This machine is complete with 7 boxes of type. 18pt Block. 18pt Large Cursive, Lower Case Cursive, Cursive Caps and Small Block. All in great condition and in the original wooden boxes. Also included are 2 original wooden boxes of small parts. There are 7 boxes(54 original rolls) of assorted colors, they are 3" wide and on cardboard rolls, most still have the original seal on them. There is the original owners manual with a cassette telling you how to operate the machine. Also included is an accessory that you use to print a monogram or etc. on a pen or pencil, plus other accessories. There are 7 different type holders. Last but not least is a nice original vinyl cover to cover the machine when not in use.This machine heats up nicely, has good paint and pefect chrome. Was made in Hollywood, Calif. This auction is for a Howard hot foil stamping/printing machine that I found at an estate sale. I don't see any markings on the machine. But was told by the previous owner that it is a Howard and it looks identical to the Howard machines I found online. I know nothing about hot foil printing so will do my best to explain what I have and will answer any questions you may have. I plugged the machine in and it did heat up, and the temperature gage on the side does work. Included with the machine are a number of accessories that are pictured as well as 3 black 9" by 6 3/4 inch trays as well as a smaller tray containing type- the total weight of all of the trays and type is approximately 18 pounds(see pictures) Also included are 20 rolls of foil(plus one purple roll on the machine) Most of these foils have been opened and used but a few ... moreare still in the wrapper. Vintage 1940s? Kingsley hot foil gold stamping machine. Serial no. 15512. Very early model without a model number, we think this is the first model they ever made. The power cord is indicative of 1940s appliances. It works perfectly and is amazingly complete. There are 5 boxes of foil, mostly unused, dated Nov. 1949. The pressed tin end of the cannisters says pat pend, there are 62 rolls of foil, mostly still sealed. The fonts are amazing and varied, there are 8 wooden boxes of them, styles are as follows: P.T. BARNUM lower case; P.T.BARNUM caps; 18 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS; 6 on 12 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and Figures(numbers) 8 point NEWS GOTHIC CAPS and figures; 24 point GOTHIC CAPS; NEWPORT MONOGRAMS; 18th Century initials. Vintage Goldmark (Howard) Hot Foil Stamping Machine
This auction is for a VINTAGE HOT FOIL STAMPING MACHINE made by GOLDMARK INDUSTRIES INC. NASHVILLE TN. Auction is for the machine in the photos only. I do not have any accessories. From the research I have done I could not find much on Goldmark Industries Inc. except that they appear to be made by the Howard Company. I have plugged this machine in and it heats up just fine. The temperature knob works. And all of the other knobs appear to be working. The handle that lowers and raises the heating plate is missing, but can easily be replaced with a home made replacement. Sorry. But I did not even know what this machine was until this morning so please look closely at photos to make sure nothing else is missing. Looks like the machine is made of cast iron. Its hard to see. But on the side it appears to have a 1 and a 101 stamped on it upside ... moredown(hard to see, but in last two photos) If you have any questions or want another photo please let me know. This is a KINGSLEY hot foil stamping machine in very good condition. It heats to all temperatures and prints well. It can print single or double line text. It comes with 2 double line type holders and 1 single line holder. It has an assortment of cushion boards. Clamps, and other. It comes with 1 Kingsley box and 24 rolls of colored foil in various colors. Some are full, others are partially full. Most, if not all, of the foil is still usable. If you know about foil stamping machines. You'll love this one. It's different than a Kingsley in that the holder is quite adjustable. SEE PIX) The sides can be taken off. And a longer die can be uses as long as you have a good solid base that will support it. I've foiled pieces that were almost 5 inches wide. Font size 24pt. font style is similar to Times Roman and includes CAPS only with numbers punctuation- etc. If you look closely at the picture of the font. You will see my"Holy Bible" and"New Testament" dies. I used these when I replaced the covers on leather and cloth Bibles. I sold my other fonts. sorry. Generally. I have tested it by loading in foil and heating the unit up. I then used the stamp that was loaded in this machine to print on a piece of paper. Worked good!
