Although I have an ... moreextensive background in machinery I have never used a foil stamping machine until I tested this one. I hooked it to a compressor and ran it. It heats up and I was able to stamp onto vinyl and leather and it seemed to work just fine. I really don’t know that much about this machine other than it works. I don’t know if it is performing as well as it was intended because I have no other machine to compare it to. It comes with a lot of extras type parts etc: See photo. Here is a site that has a far better understanding of the machine, and I believe they sell parts. There is also a really helpful video on this machine here: http:www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS72sa2ICIk The guy who made it is in Vegas and he sometimes carries parts and can be very helpful with advice. Up for bid is a rare vintage Graphotype Model 6183 No. 3635F441. Circa 1945, according to info I found on the net. I checked it out and got the character wheel moving freely, the individual characters for the most part move freely also, some are a bit stiff! The carriage moves a bit stiff also, a few drops of oil should fix that! I also replaced the string that moves the indicator as the original had dry rotted. I used 50# test Spyderwire as it looked closest to the original! Cosmetic condition is good with no apparent damage other than some light rust deposits and some chipping on the paint. I have seen a few machines similar but not identical to this one. All the letters are marked with the number 3 above C4 on the edge facing out. I'm guessing this may be the size and font, not sure! Here's an old leather embossing machine marked; MC MILLEN TOOL. It measures about 10" tall. 16" long(not counting the handle) and it weighs about 50 pounds. The shaft for the embossing wheels measures 1" in diameter. It has some rust, but there are no cracked, no broken and no repaired parts, however there is one rod on the bottom side, that appear to have been replaced. This machine looks to be complete but has been stored outside so it does need a full restoration. I’m not sure as to the working order before it was put outside. This is the model 6341(No. 324452) and is a high-speed electric embosser with upper and lower case fonts. I have for auction a very nice leather hand operated embossing or stamping and maybe even pinking machine. It is in very nice as found condition. It is a used tool and it is an old tool so there is evidence of user wear and tear. There is some of the original finish missing. There is nothing broken. The cutting wheel is 1 3/4' in diameter. The pressure wheel is 2' in diameter. The pressure wheel is adjustable up or down. For adjustment with thicker/thinner material and also for larger and small diameter cutting wheels. the cutting wheel) This is the only cutting wheel That I have. Vintage Kingsley M-50 M50 Embossing Printing Machine Works Hot Foil
Vintage Kingsley M-50 hot foil stamping embossing maching. Seems to be in working condition. The type holder is missing but it does heat up as seen in the picture. The lever works and it seems to advance the roll. The knob is missing on the heat control but the shaft turns as at should and it adjusts the heat. A replacement knob should be available at any hardware store. There looks to be a pad that sits below the cardboard pad that may be missing. Comes with instruction manual(the back cover is missing) and other literature. I will be listing a few type sets separately as well.

Up for auction is a Kingsley hot foil stamping font set. The set has 4 trays of fonts and 1 drawer of accessory pieces and random bits. There is also empty opening from a tray that was missing at purchase. I purchased these items at a garage sale a few years back so I really don’t know much about them. I am selling‘as is’ but as far as I can tell everything appears to be in great condition especially considering their age. I apologize about the high shipping. But the entire box(with 5 compartments of metal and wood) weighs over 12 lbs. so I’m only charging what it will cost me to ship and insure safely. This auction is for a classic Gold Magic 1SX hot foil embossing machine. It is in excellent original condition and works as intended. I acquired it about 7 years ago and used it occasionally to monogram and personalize items. This stamping machine was manufactured by the Gold Magic Company. In Tampa, Florida, which is still in business as RJZ Magic Systems. Located in Willow Hill, PA 17271. They still sell this model new from their factory. For $1,499.99. Replacement parts and upgrades are still available for this machine. This hot foil stamper uses a Robo Temp stepless temperature controller which is highly regarded in the industry. The type holder is a 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" chase. This is a solid aluminum fixture that is filled with type. Dies, emblems etc. The extra space is filled up with metal fillers and spacer and the whole typeface ... moreis then held in place by set screws which tighten the components from the sides of the type holder. The table. Frame, and ram are very well designed for durability for repetitive stamping. There is no foil advancing with a Gold Magic machine. It is performed by pulling the foil from the spool over your work manually. Most users install a simple spindle on the side of the table or the mounting bench. To hold their roll of foil. Also there is no spring return when you pull down the handle. On Gold Magic machines. You must manually return the handle. This usually isn't a problem because even with a spring you would have to hold it anyway. As not to let the handle snap back. The table has 2 slots in which you can install fixtures to hold your work.
