Here on offer is a rare vintage‘Queen Elizabeth II in Hong Kong 1975’ commemorative wall plaque. This large wall hanging is I believe made from resin. It has a bust of Queen Elizabeth in front of a harbour view of Hong Kong. The view is framed by an arch that has oriental motifs. It continues behind Elizabeth. The view and bust are supported by a plinth that has an inscription that reads: QUEEN ELIZABETH II IN HONG KONG 1975 The artists signature is on the bust. It looks to be Leon Ko or Leon Koy. The surface is finished in subtle metallic tones. There is a little missing from Elizabeths cheek. The original label is still in place on the back. Giving a price of $300. You're going to buy an old and rare Junghans Wall Clock- a nice decorative item for your home or a valuable piece for your collection. The dial is decorated with the zodiac signs; also on the clock face there is the Eagle with Iron Cross- the emblem of the Wehrmacht(the German Army in World War II) The clock is operated by a W285 self winding battery clock mechanism with a quite sophisticated and interesting working cycle: t he movement is an impulse-rewind type and is powered by a spring. The spring is wound up by a solenoid(the black cylinder in the photos) As the spring winds down. Electrical contact is made with the solenoid. Which then pushes the weighted bar that in turn rewinds the spring. You can hear a faint"clunk" sound whenever this happens. HAMMOND SYNCHRONOUS SPIN START MODEL 311 RETRO DECO WALL CLOCK
Greetings.This is a vintage Hammond model 311 wall clock with the"spin start" knob/mechanism. Hammond clocks were mfg. from 1928 to 1941. And once the clock production ended, the Hammond organ was born. This 311 model(the"Hamilton" has chrome multi-ridge body, white face w/black print, an unusual 3 minute dial, measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" in depth. The power cord was totally disintegrated, and was replaced with a 6' two-prong white cord. The internal mechanism was lubricated with a small amount of light machine oil. The back plate rubber wall bumpers had also crumbled, and stick-on felt pads will protect the wall nicely. I tested the clock for about one week, and it was quiet and kept good time. Here is a vintage Lanshire trivet wall clock. It works. It's about 9-1/4 inches tall. About 6 inches wide, and about 2 inches thick. According to my patent book, this was made in 1948. It's made of cast iron with the number 3001 stamped on the underside of the trivet. It's painted a glossy white. There are afew places with loss of paint. The worst is picture number 7. There is also some brownish lines here and there on the round clock part. Not bad I just wanted to point it out. It's nice and clean. The face of the clock is glass and not plastic. The back of it is metal. It says Lanshire Self Starting Made in U.S.A. Model T3. For a.c. only, 05-125 vlts. 60 cy.2.5 watts, pat'd U.S.A. 2437201, other pats. pendg. Please look at the pictures. This is a rare J. Kosuge Crock(clock) Co. Wall clock with original paper label in tact. Glass etching of a bird is visible but mostly worn off. 14 inch face. 27.5 inches tall.
