Silverline Pro 8 Floor Sander Eight Inch Drum Sanding Machine
Silverline Pro 8 Floor sander. This is one of the best floor sanders you can buy. It has plenty of power and it isnt too heavy to carry up a flight of steps. Cuts nice and evenly, drum has a nice pad on it. There is a slight crack in the base handle bracket which has been fixed with something. I checked with Silverline and a new piece is about $90 but it doesnt need one. Machine comes with a new dust bag, a small handle that holds the front cover open for transporting the machine, a drum wrench, and a 10 gauge cable that is about 25 feet long with a 30 amp male and female plug. Machine is located in Huntington Long Island, NY if you want to try it. Comes with free delivery, inquire for details.

This is a very nice used Silverline S-L-8 drum sander. It works quite nicely. The sandpaper drum is in excellent condition. It is not all tore up by nails. The edges are nice and crisp, and the cam lock springs have been recently replaced, so this unit will give many trouble free jobs. We are even including a 10 pack of 20 grit paper so you can start sanding right away. The only bad thing about this sander is someone had a loose piece of paper on it and sanded a hole through part of the housing(you can see it in the 4th picture) That can be covered by epoxying a piece of aluminum over it. Or rivet a piece on, or don't worry about it and use it the way it is. We can ship this freight anywhwere to a business location. Call for a quote. I purchased this item used on Ebay a few years ago just to have as part of my equipment in case I decided to do wood floors. I have never used the items accept to plug them in and power them on. All appears to be in proper working order. I had not originally noticed that when I was delivered the drum sander it had a weld coming loose under the motor on the bracket as shown in photo. I am not going to surprise anyone else with this repair which will probably be around $50 to weld the bracket as strong as ever. It is a used essex silver-line SL 8 drum wood floor sander with a baldor 1 HP 115/220V motor. I am including a used Porter Cable Rotary Type E-6 Edger 3/4HP 115V. I am including a new spare bag for the drum sander and one for the edger. I am including one box of#10& one box of#60 drum sand paper sheets. 5 packages of rotary sander ... moresheets.
