It has a base thread of 1/2" npt to thread into the tank. It has a 1/4" compression thread where the supply tube fits into. The secondary port for the unloader valve is 1/8" npt. The purpose of the unloader valve is to relieve the pressure so as the motor starts up it is not pushing on any pressure in the tank. It feeds into the pressure switch and automatically relieves the pressure in the supply tube as the motor shuts off at max pressure.
