Fresh from a local estate purchase of African collectibles comes this BEAUTIFUL 8' TALL CARVED OR CHISELED BUST OF A YOUNG AFRICAN WOMAN WITH BRAIDED HAIR AND SHORT TWIN PONYTAILS. Other items from this estate will be listed in the coming week. All except the IVORY pieces which I understand cannot be sold on ebay. This bust is an extremely heavy piece. Being made of an exceptionally hard wood. I was told by the family that they were always told it was ebony wood. I am not selling as such since I don't know for sure, but it does have the characteristics of ebony by the grain and weight. I have given a close up photo(5) to show the grain if anyone can identify it. This piece is in exceptionally nice condition having always been displayed in a glass corner stand in the home. Vintage 8 Point Star Quilt Top Beautiful 1930's prints with reproduction border! This quilt is so gorgeous! Lots of work went into this treasure. If you like those flirty 30's fabrics. Vintage or reproduction, YOU WILL LOVE THIS QUILT! The main section of stars is hand-pieced with beautiful cotton prints and a little feedsack from that bygone era. A pretty soft. White muslin that serves as the background sets off the prints. The outside is machine-stitched in reproduction fabrics, consisting of a 2-1/2" strip of solid cheddar color sashing, with a piano key border in lots of bold, vibrant prints. The colors coordinate beautifully with such a variety of cotton prints and solids. Check out the pictures to see for yourself! Quilt Top "Grandmother's Flower Garden" 84" x 74" Hand Sewn Early Fabric
This is a lovely"Grandmother's Flower Garden" vintage 84" x 74" quilt top. The colors are vibrant. The fabric is typical of the era and is all hand sewn. This quilt top came from a recent estate sale and had been stored for a long time and never used. It was very soiled and has been soaked overnight, hand washed and pressed There are two areas with storage spots, as can be seen in pictures eight and nine. One is on the outer edge, the other on the inner portion and they are only in the white blocks. I have not tried to remove these spots Other than these areas, this Grandmother's Garden quilt top is in very good condition. A beautiful quilt top to finish and enjoy!

Half of the top open up. The top is dusty and I have done no cleaning. Note some surface oxidation on the grinder burr area. I am presuming this is to be used as a decoration but I don't see why it wouldn't work in actual use although you should expect to have to disassemble for thorough detail cleaning-No damage noted- very good condition- Will be well packed. You are looking at a BEAUTIFUL Hand Blown Teal Green Glass Pitcher. The pontil mark is visible underneath the pitcher as well as on the handle. It stands 8" tall. Approximately 3" across the mouth(not counting the pouring spout) and is approximately 8" wide at the widest area of the pitcher. The color is beautiful and has the optic swirl pattern in the glass. I am not a glass expert therefore I do not know the maker of this piece. It is in great condition with NO chips. Scratches or cracks. It has some wear on the inside from usage.
