The unit seems to work.I didn't try to do a calibration. Etc but it receives fine. I made up some"B" Batteries using 7 ea 9V batteries to power the unit(I will include these batteries with the sales) I tuned in several local AM stations both at the high and low end of the band and had audio out of the headphone jack. remember that the headphone jack is expecting a 2K ohm headphone which was used in the days this unit was popular.modern low impedance headphones will have low level) The meter indicated when a station was tuned in. There is some minor corrosion on the"A" battery(D cells) and I have done my best to clean it with a wire brush and a Dremel tool. Metal on battery clips has not deteriorated and is still there. Eleven pennywhistles. A couple of flutes, and a tabor pipe. There is a no-name E-flat(D# wooden whistle- the one that looks like a recorder. It looks like African blackwood to me. It is virtually new and looks to be extremely well made. There is a faint"36" or"38" just below the band on the back. I suspect that this one whistle is worth more than the rest combined. It has a blue soft case. Sure wish I could identify it. The flutes are a cylindrical A-455-ish thing and a bamboo Haiti tourist item. The tabor pipe is a Generation D nickel. This auction is for a Clarke Super 7R floor sander in great working condition. This machine is in great shape with only some cosmetic wear. A few chips and dings, and one small crack in the aluminum. The cord is taped in a few places but still works great. There is a bag included but it does have a small hole, which could be sewn or taped up.
