1800'S CLARKE FAIRY PYRAMID CUT GLASS BASE,VERY RARE MARKED
Perfect condition Clarke Fairy Pyramid Lamp Base. The cut designs are heavily detailed and the top edge is scalloped. The glass is very thick. The bottom of the base/bowl has“Fairy Pyramid Clarke” molded into the clear bottom. I don’t see any cracks or chips. There is one mark on the inside of the bowl that looks like a scratch. But I believe it may be a defect in the manufacturing. The inside of the bowl has a row of notches to support the lid(not included) This bowl is 2 ½ inches wide and 1 ½ tall. Nice Old Antique Bottle, Hunt's Remedy, Wm. E.Clarke, Providence, RI
Here's another interesting old or antique bottle from among the small collection we've been listing from for the past week or two. This one seems to be from the mid to late 1800's based on the more primitive appearance of a less evolved glass making process of the 1800's. This one is a medicine bottle with markings"Hunt's Remedy" on both the side recessed panels and"Wm. E. Clarke. Pharmacist, Providence, R.I. on the front recessed panel. The bottle has squared edges as shown. Imperfections of manufacturing include bubbles and process marks. The lip is somewhat extended outward and there is a flake of glass gone from the surface of the lip as we show in a picture. Nice and clean though some bottle enthusiasts will elect to provide a little more fine cleaning. The bottle stands about 7 inches tall and is about ... more2.5inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. It is a light blue and has a nice early glass look. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this antique bottle low so enjoy the auction. My head circumference is about 60cm around the forehead. A lot of effort has been made to match all the details of Isaac Clarke's helmet in the game. The color of the first 5 pictures is what is for sale. The last picture is just to show the size when it is worn. It has EL tape across the visor and tinted lenses so it still has the torquoise color when the light is off. The power source and switch is contained inside the helmet. This is a real photo postcard of the"A. C. Burdick& Co. Inc. Packers and Shippers, Clarke County Prunes. I believe it is from Athens, Georgia. It depicts the barn with masses of people in front of the barn, in the hayloft and off to the right side of the picture. I think that the owners are standing on the left. It has never been used and has an AZO stamp box with all of the corners pointing up, dating it to the early 1900s. It is also the smaller sized card from that period. It is in good condition with no bends, tears, creases or stains.

This is an antique S Clark Fairy pyramid/Webb Burmese glass fairy lamp with a pewter holder. It is hallmarked on the clear glass and the pewter part. The pewter part says: New England solid pewter. It measures 5 1/2" tall with everything and the shade is x 2 3/4" tall x 2" in diameter at the base. The pewter holder measures 2 1/4" tall x 4 1/8" in diameter at the base. They are in very good condition. No chips, cracks or repair. It is listed without a reserve. I have many items up for auction& am happy to combine shipping. Thanks for looking! This set includes the fairy lamp shade& signed"Clarke's" two-tier over sized cup with an unusual matching 10" Burmese glass underplate. The lamp alone measures 6" high and the same across at the widest point of the cup. The fairy lamp is in very good condition with a minor chip underneath the shade but no other cracks or restorations found. There is a tiny"pin prick" bubble on the side of the shade and a slight color variation in a 1/4" spot on the plate-these flaws are certainly minor but please see the photos to evaluate. this is very common in the early manufacturing of glassware. Gun shot wound to shoulder. On the 8th of August 1916 he was exchanged prisoner of war. Sent to Alexander Military Hospital. Millbank, severe wounds. Multiple gun shot wounds. Amputated right foot. On the 17th of December he was discharged for hospital. Medical Board recommended repatriation to Canada. He returned home and was a dmitted to convalescent home in Toronto. On the 16th of December he was d ischarged from the Canadian Expeditionary Force with an intended residence of 514 21 st Street Calgary. Alberta. He died on the 13th of June 1953. Check out my! C larke 36 Volt Battery Charger You are looking at a 36 volt 2 5 amp Cla rke battery charger made by Lester Electrical of Lincoln. NE. It can be used for electric fork lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, golf carts, autoscrubbers, etc. While looking at the pictures you will notice the charger is in" VERY GOOD" condition. In picture#9 you can see the Serial Number w hich reads"10-00" This is the date the charger was assembled. October of 2000. So this is a relatively new charger. It does have some dents on the housing. But it is purely a cosmetic issue. I tested the charger and it works as it sho uld. The charger does have a fa irly loud buzz while it's charg ing. But it does n ot effect the performance of the charger. Both AC and DC cords are in excellent shap e. There are no cracks or cuts in the insulation ... moreand both plugs are in great shape. The DC connector is a small grey 50 amp Anderson con nector. However. The DC connector can be easily swi tched out for the connector you need. I n fact. If I have the connector you need in stock I am happy to swit ch it out for you free of charge(The only exception is an EZ GO D-shaped connector. I do have them in sto ck. But they are an expensi ve part. I would still on l y charge an extra $20 to install one for you) In my opinion Lester chargers are the best out there. The reason you don't have to worry to much about this charger is because it doesn't have a bunch of electronic circuit boards that can easily go bad with just a bump or some moisture. Lester chargers only have a few basic components and even if they do go bad. They are relatively inexpensive to replace. You can't go wrong with a Lester charger! Below you will see some of the features of this charger. Look it over carefully and please ask any questions you may have BEFORE making your purchase. Alan Clarke’s television production of Bertolt Brecht’s play considered for many as one of the best for the unique style and qualities of its production: The play Baal was Brecht’s earliest play. Written in 1918 as a student diatribe against Hanns Johst’s expressionist piece The Lonely One. Satirising Johst’s tale of an unacknowledged artist who redeems his dissolute lifestyle and dies at peace with the world, Brecht created in Baal a monster of sensuality and self-gratification, a ribald, drunken strolling player named after a bestial ... morepagan deity. Despite his repulsive appearance and egocentric amorality Baal is irresistible to women, which makes him envied, admired and despised by men. He seduces every girl who comes his way before abandoning them to pregnancy or suicide, and finally murders his best friend, goes on the run and dies alone in a woodcutter’s cottage. Were more flexible than those used by previous directors of Brecht’s plays for the BBC, Rudolph Cartier( World Theatre: Mother Courage and her Children. 1959) and Charles Jarrott( Festival: The Life of Galileo. 1964) Clarke had the opportunity to re-edit the piece extensively in post-production, as had become customary in the production of studio television drama(Jacobs, 2000, p. 24) an innovation that might encourage the creation of the“Brechtian television” that had been called for by John McGrath, Ken Loach and others in the 1960s.
